Hoy+Stark was commissioned for a Level 1 alteration of the Johnston Building at Florida State University. The scope included remodeling "Your Way Cafe" to a new 4 Rivers Smokehouse, the second location in Tallahassee. 

 

Most of the renovation work was located at the front line of the restaurant and consisted of minor demolition of tile, counters, millwork, equipment, and signage in addition to addressing accessibility issues for proper hygiene procedures. The millwork, signage, paint, and decor were added in accordance with 4 Rivers requirements. Two additional ovens were placed in the back of the restaurant and a service window was installed for easy access from the kitchen to the front of house.
